Real Estate Scammers
Property fraud has exploded in Palm Beach County, with cases jumping from just four prosecutions in 2023 to 184 in 2025, according to data from the State Attorney's Office. Clerk Mike Caruso says the theft of real estate is an epidemic that could reach 800 cases this year. But you can protect your home by getting an alert any time a document
is recorded with your name, your address or your parcel number.
Clerk Caruso Announces
$350 Million Investment in
Israel Bonds
Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Mike Caruso announced a $350.5 million investment in Israel Bonds, bringing the County’s total investment to $1 billion. This makes Palm Beach County the largest investor in Israel Bonds in the world. “Investment policy is not politics, but are purely a function of safety, liquidity and a market rate of return,” said Clerk Caruso, a Certified Public Accountant. “Israel Bonds are paying a higher rate than other allowable investment alternatives, including U.S. Treasuries, and will
provide a substantial return on investment for the people of Palm Beach County.”
