We are just days away from our most comprehensive and anticipated conference and we are looking forward to seeing over 400 members, speakers and sponsors in Sydney. We were so impressed by the quantity and quality of nominations for the 2023 RSA Awards. The judges really had their work cut out for them and I can't wait to see the winners honoured at the Conference Party on Monday. The CPD year comes to a close at the end of May for all our Aussie members - have you got all your points? It's not too late to join in on the fun - whether that is online or in person. All registered attendees will get access to all recorded sessions until 31 August 2023. RSA Awards 2023 - Finalists announced!The RSA's awards program recognises outstanding achievement by members who are advancing the care of people with kidney disease. We are excited to announce the finalists for 2023. The winners will be named at the RSA Conference Party on Monday 29 May 2023. Click on the button below to see the list of finalists. Vale Kim TorpeyKim was a member of the RSA for 29 years till he retired in 2018. His passion was vascular access and he was involved with a number studies and publications. He was always the ‘go to’ person for difficult cannulations. Kim passed away in April 2023 and is sorely missed in the renal community in South Australia and nationally. He is survived by his daughter Ereena, her partner and his granddaughter Matilda. Thank you for all your contribution to renal. All that knew you have benefitted from your care, extensive knowledge and passion. RIP Kim, you will always be remembered fondly.
