Dear ECF Friend, I am honored to write to you as the president of ECF and invite you to support the Epicurean Charitable Foundation’s Fifth Annual Golf Classic on Monday the 2nd of November at Canyon Gate Country Club. As Las Vegas begins to open its doors and welcome back guests, we are proud to stand stronger together. The commitment we have to our students never waivers and despite the circumstances, we continue to be exceedingly focused on the opportunities ahead. I am reaching out to introduce you to our local program that is making a big impact on the industry and to request your support. Supporting ECF students is a great investment in our community. All of our students are currently enrolled in UNLV with the intention of becoming leaders in Las Vegas’ primary industry: hospitality. Nearly all of our students attain employment in the city after graduating. We understand that current circumstances are challenging, especially when it comes to Hospitality. However, your continued support will greatly contribute to the success of this event. We would appreciate consideration of a donation item and/or package. In our efforts of going green, please click to download our electronic raffle item donation form The Epicurean Charitable Foundation’s Fifth Annual Golf Classic is a social day of golf that features local restaurants, beverage distributors and sponsors on the course. Alongside their offerings, guests are provided with exciting contests and prizes throughout the day. Enclosed is the donation form. ECF is a Las Vegas-based, non-profit organization committed to making a positive difference in the community and enriching the lives of deserving local students by providing mentorship and educational support as they pursue a career in the field of hospitality. Many low-income students have simply given up on education because they know they do not have the financial or emotional wherewithal to make it through higher education. For those at-risk young adults, the obstacles to achieving their dreams seem to increase every year. The skyrocketing costs of a higher education present a major barrier to the future of our young people. ECF’s Future Leaders of Hospitality Program addresses these issues by making a college education accessible to low-income, young adults, while also helping mold their skill sets to create a highly qualified, local workforce that support Las Vegas’ primary industry. We hope we can count on your support for ensuring the success of this event. Please respond by October 23rd, 2020. Enclosed is the item donation form.
