SHE BUILDS IT HOLIDAY GATHERING

On December 4, more than 120 women from companies involved in the Houston construction industry gathered at Kirby Ice House for ASA-HC’s She Builds It Holiday Gathering. The event was an opportunity for women in the construction industry to meet one another and build relationships while also lending a helping hand to ASA-HC families with kids who could use a little help this holiday season. During the event, we collected more than $4,100 in gift cards from the incredible women in attendance. Those cards went to 16 deserving families within six ASA-HC member companies — happy holidays indeed!

Did You Know?

How do legislators get ideas for changing the laws or creating new ones? From you. There are several ways to get involved in the legislative process to make known your ideas, needs, support and nonsupport of the issues.

Before Elections, You Can:
1. Meet your district's candidates and ask them about issues of importance to you.
2. If the candidate merits your support, contribute your time and resources. This includes carrying out block walks and making campaign signs!

The Votes Are In: BCH is a Great Place to Work

October was a busy month for Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates (BCH), who was not only named among the Houston Business Journal’s 2019 Best Places to Work, but the Houston Chronicle’s Top Workplaces for 2019, too!

Throughout the awards processes, organizers compared BCH to others of similar size and took into consideration a variety of factors such as internal culture, employee engagement and, most importantly, input from employees themselves.

BCH attributes the honors to dedicated team members who put their expertise to work each day for clients and help create a fun-filled, encouraging environment — and to incredible clients who help fuel the company’s success. Congratulations to the entire BCH team!
