Thursday Edition
Good morning, members, and happy Thursday! As we do every morning, we have an absolute stellar lineup for you today, so make yourself comfortable, grab yourself a cuppa and enjoy!
First things first, it’s time to give you all the answer to yesterday’s tricky riddle. For those of you who don’t remember, the riddle goes:
A man runs away from home. He turns left and keeps running. After some time, he turns left again and keeps running. He later turns left once more and runs back home, but when he gets home, he finds a man in a mask. Who was the man in the mask?
This was a tricky one, eh? Well, it seems it wasn’t for a few of you - particularly, we imagine, if you’re a fan of baseball or softball. The answer is the catcher in a baseball game! So the man running back home is a player, and when he returns home (home base), he sees the catcher (the man in the mask). If you got this one correct, stick around, and you’ll find a shoutout waiting for you at the end of the newsletter.
Next up on the agenda, folks is our Fascinating Fact for the week!
Have you ever tried to say something and then just poof, it was gone? Is there a word for when you suddenly forget a specific word? Well, yes, it turns out there is. Many people refer to this short-term memory lapse as the ‘tip of the tongue’ syndrome. This phenomenon, however, actually has a name. It’s called “lethologica,” the inability to remember the right words, key phrases, and names. So, how often do you experience lethologica?
Now, what’s happening in Australia and around the world today?

Who remembers cooking on a Primus stove while camping back in the day? It was filled with kerosene and kept under pressure with a small pump on the side. It was a little scary to light it, but it was handy for camping trips.
