Hey, hey, it’s Saturday! How are you all this morning, members? Finally, it’s time to kick back, relax, and enjoy your well-earned weekend. How are you planning to spend your time? Perhaps an exciting outdoor adventure or quality time with your loved ones? Whatever it is, I (Vella) hope you have a wonderful time doing so. 😊
And speaking of loved ones, I want to take a moment to thank all those who shared their love stories in our recent ‘What’s your love language, or how do you show your love for someone?' forum thread. Reading through your beautiful stories was a heartwarming experience that left me feeling inspired and grateful. Many of you mentioned ‘acts of service’ or doing things for your loved ones as your way of showing love, and I couldn’t agree more. It’s the little things that matter the most in life, and taking the time to show
someone you care through your actions is a beautiful thing. If you want to share your experiences too, just head on over to our forum thread here. Let’s spread some love and positivity this Saturday!
Alright, it’s time to reveal the answer to yesterday’s riddle! In case you have already forgotten, here’s a little reminder:
John has 10 siblings: 4 boys and 6 girls. He has a mother and father. How many people are in the family?
Drumroll, please… The answer is 13 people! Why? Because John is one of the siblings, the family consists of 11 children plus the mother and father, making a total of 13 people. That was a good one, eh? If you got the answer correct, head to the bottom of the newsletter for a well-deserved shout-out.
Moving on to our next segment, ‘What Would the Grandkids Say?’ Today, we’re taking a look at the term ‘SMH’. SMH stands for ‘shaking my head’ and is a popular acronym used to express disappointment, disbelief, or frustration with someone or something online. If you’re around your grandkids and they do something that leaves you feeling shocked or dismayed, you can use this acronym to let them know you disapprove of their actions. For example, if they tell you they spent all their money on video games instead of saving it for something more practical, you can say ‘SMH’.
