Our team of families have put together a LIVE community calendar to help your family get connected and have fun doing it! Check back frequently as this calendar is constantly being updated as we become aware of new events. Employment Equity and Inclusive WorkspacesThere are approximately 500,000 people with an intellectual or developmental disability in Canada. Only 1 in 4 people with an intellectual disability are in the regular workforce despite government and corporate commitments (Inclusion Canada, 2025). Paid employment offers our loved ones a sense of purpose, greater independence and the opportunity to expand their social circle.
