Wednesday Edition
Good morning, members and welcome to Wednesday! Ah, we have another day ahead of us, and that's something to be thankful for—another day to make the most of and do something positive for ourselves and others. I (Vella) am starting the day with a cup of warm lemon water with honey and a little yoga. It’s a great way to wake up the body and the mind. I have a bit of a sore throat and an aching back too, so this is the perfect remedy. Then I’ll be doing the grocery shopping for my mum. It's a little something I can do for her to make her week easier. How about you? What are you doing for yourself and others today?
Oh, and speaking of groceries, we have your weekly deals from Coles, Woolworths, ALDI, and IGA. There are some great bargains in there this week, so make sure to check them out!
Now, it’s time to get your brain working with our second riddle of the week! This one comes from member @Rest1953. It’s a tricky one, so get those thinking caps on! Here it goes:
Who eats me will be eaten by the one who sent me. What am I?
Oooh, this one is extra tough, but we know you can do it. If you’re confident that you have the correct answer, head on over to our riddle masters thread here. As always, anyone who gets the correct answer will be rewarded with a shout-out in tomorrow’s newsletter!

Who remembers recording their favourite songs on the radio onto a cassette recorder? It was always a race against time to hit the 'Record' button and capture the song without missing a beat. And the frustration of missing it and waiting until the following week was palpable! Kids today will never know the struggle! They hear a song they like, and it's off to iTunes or Spotify. Awww! Today's picture is simply too cute! It's a photo of a very, very tired wombat captured by our dear member @Simmy. I wonder what kind of adventures it had been on to be so tired? Or maybe, it was just awake during the day when it should have been asleep!
What a cutie! Thank you for sharing this adorable photo with us, @Simmy!
