Meet Lucas, Fifth Grader and Lung Cancer FundraiserYou, too, can make a difference! LUNGevity is thrilled to spotlight Lucas de los Santis, a fifth grader in Florida, who is helping to bring awareness to lung cancer and LUNGevity’s mission. Lucas won a social organization award at his elementary school by writing a compelling submission about lung cancer and the work LUNGevity is doing each day and presenting to his class on the importance of lung cancer awareness. His entry received the most votes, and LUNGevity was the beneficiary of his efforts. Thank you, Lucas! LUNGevity board member Michael Parisi attended the ceremony and presented Lucas with a special certificate on behalf of the Foundation. We are honored to have met this incredible young man and look forward to seeing his social awareness continue to contribute to society.
