Things have been moving at a rapid pace over the past month as the rate of community vaccination rises and the State responds by opening up. Most significantly this has allowed students and staff to return to school, albeit in a staggered fashion to date. This week we were thrilled to mark the return of all students and staff. The joyfulness of life at school, with us all together in our school environment, with the gardens in full bloom has really been quite moving. We were able to have a subdued celebration to mark the end of Year 12 classes with a dress up day and COVIDSafe guard of honour to farewell them. We are mid-way through the VCAA exam period and they have been running like clockwork ... Welcome back to Mac.Rob! There were smiles all round in recent weeks as we celebrated the return of our students to on-site learning! Mac.Rob staff turned out to greet students with a special welcome banner, and there were chocolates for all to help students ease back into life on campus after so many weeks away. Absence might make the heart grow fonder, but we can't wait to get back to the classroom, catch up with our friends, and get the best out of Term 4! ![]() Community: School Sustainability FestivalStudents across Melbourne and a school in the Northern Territory were invited to attend Port Phillip's virtual School Sustainability Festival. Mac.Rob Foundation: Helen Turner BursaryThis Bursary, offered to all current Mac.Rob students in Years 9-11, is in memory of former student, Helen Roberta Turner (nee Bates), to assist eligible students whose families are in financial need.
