Dear Colleagues,

I hope that you are very well. I am sure you are experiencing a busy and productive time of year in your institutions. AEC continues its own work supporting our members, as you will find in this month’s newsletter.

Following a successful concert in aid of ‘AEC 4 Ukraine’ organised by the Sibelius Academy, Finn and the office team have been in touch with our Ukrainian colleagues to work on how our donation will safely reach them. A huge thanks to all who supported it.

The final session of this year’s Artist as Teacher seminars took place in the Hague this month, and I am sure the latest cohort gained much from their professional colleagues and mentors.

Our student organisation EPASA continues to make strides, and I ask you to note and support the upcoming Conference & Elections by letting your own Student Unions know the details.

Finally, I would encourage you to take time to fill in a Questionnaire on the important subject of admission to Pre-College and Higher Music Education, which we hope will inform our research and ideas under the ARTEMIS Project.

Best wishes,

Deborah Kelleher, AEC President
