Best wishes for the New Year : 2026 should see more women to play an active role in the solving of huge challenges

No one can seriously exclude women from co-managing the polycrisis our planet is facing. Whether in sciences, art, business, leadership there are women able and willing to contribute to solving conflicts, climate change issues, knowledge sharing and to co-build innovative ways and systems which take into account the new constraints such as resources scarcity, growing social inequalities and global geoeconomics tensions. Furthermore the work and researches of past and contemporary activists are more accessible thanks to the new medias. Meredith Hooper (pictured), a historian and author with a profound affinity for Antarctica, who just died leaves "a legacy through her writing, exhibitions and artworks she shaped, and in the inspiration she offered to scholars, readers, visitors and fellow storytellers" (UK Antarctic Heritage Trust). Education on climate solutions is indeed key for politics, academics, industries and for students. HEC Liège Kinshasa works on the business models, the management practices of the New Climate Economy and its development supported by relying on local formal and informal entrepreneurship. Prof. Virginie Xhauflair in Business Ethics & Philanthropy at HEC Liège and Colleagues are at the forefront of this program. Because it's urgent to apply climate governance across sectors as well as in regions which hold strategic resources such as fresh water, fertile lands, forests,  innovative capacity and minerals.

Thank you for your impactful actions throughout the year and for your support and inspiration! Our very best wishes for the New Year to you, your family, teams and stakeholders. Together we are stronger!
